File ID	Description
AXS	Microsoft Access '2000-'2003- (requires Jet 4.0 to be installed Microsoft Access '2007 supported in CG DataPorter 2.0.202 only as of if appropriate driver installed on system.
CDH	Custom Delimited text file where the first record in the file contains column header information. Custom delimiters can be 1 or 2 characters
CDN	Custom Delimited text file with no header record
CGP	A DataPorter generated dataset which contains a complete import mapping template and associated data to be imported. There is no requirement to access either the template database or the original datasource. Not available for Importer 1.3
CSH	Comma Separated Value text file where the first record in the file contains column header information.
CSN	Comma Separated Value text file with no header information
MSQ	Microsoft SQL'2000 . If MS SQL is not installed on the system, this option will not become visible. Tables and views and supported. Available in Pro edition only. Support for MS SQL Native Client (SQL'2005) added in CGD 2.0.195 - requires Backwards Compatibility option to be installed to access SQL'2000 if Native Client driver present.
MYS	MySQL - requires the MySQL ODBC driver version 3.51 to be installed. If the driver is not found, this option will not be visible. Not available for Importer 1.3/Exporter
OLK	Outlook Contact Folder. Not available for Importer 1.3
TBH	Tab Delimited text file with the first record containing the column header information.
TBN	Tab Delimited text file with no header information
VFT	Visual FoxPro tables (DBF) format. Effective with CGD 2.0.195 - the vfpoledb.dll driver MUST BE installed or the option will not be visible. Not available for Exporter
XLH	Microsoft Excel XLS worksheet with the first row containing the column header information. Worksheets and named ranges are supported. Named Ranges not supported in Importer 1.3. Excel '2007 supported by CG DataPorter 2.0.202 only as of 2007/3/7.
XLS	Microsoft Excel XLH worksheet with no header information. Excel '2007 supported by CG DataPorter 2.0.202 only as of 2007/3/7.
XML	XML data file in ADO XML (attribute centric) format. Not available for Importer 1.3/Exporter

	Output Files Generated (DataPorter)

File Type	Description
XML (a)	This XML file format is saved in the standard ADO XML recordset format which contains schema information for all fields (otherwise referred to as <attribute centric>. This is the XML format required to import data into DataPorter and can be used by any other application using ADO. This format is not compatible with importing to any Microsoft Office application such as Excel or Access.
XML (e)	This XML format only contains field names and data with no data type information (otherwise referred to as <element centric> This format is compatible with importing data into the Microsoft Office products that support XML and can be used by any 3rd party application which knows the format of the data it's reading.
CGP	A CGP dataset generated by DataPorter that essentially contains 2 XML files. The first is a complete external import template and the second is the input data to be imported. CGP datasets are automatically processed when selected with no changes being allowed to contact folder selection or field mappings.
CSV	Creates a standard CSV output file which can include any standard or user-defined field when Outlook contact folders are used as the input data source (CSV format can be generated for any input data source type containing the data for all <selected> records.
