Navigation:  Step-By-Step Importing > Filtering Source Data

When at least one field is mapped (and at least one field set designated as <key fields> for <Update mode> imports), the <Filter/Process> tab will become visible allowing filter criteria to be entered to narrow the input data to be used for importing / exporting. There is no requirement to enter filter criteria.
