Select Multiple Folders
If exporting Contact folders, you will be able to select multiple contact folders after the <Primary> contact folder is chosen. and the option will become visible.

To select additional folders, click on the Select/Clear button and select <Add Folders>

The first time this option is selected since starting CGX, a complete folder scan will be completed and the following screen will be displayed (this window will automatically close upon completion of the scan):

All folders within all PST files and the Exchange PrimaryMailbox (if applicable) will be scanned in search of contact folders. All sub-folders within a heirarchy will also be scanned. Contact folders in the Public Folders group must be set to show as an Outlook Address Book otherwise will not be included. Sub-folders for Contact folders in the Public Folders group will not scanned. The reason that sub-folder scanning is not done in the Public Folders group is that some organizations can have thousands of Public Folders and the process can be far too time-consuming.
Once the folder scan has been performed, multiple folders can be selected for inclusion in a single export run. The message class used for the primary folder will govern which fields will be available for all other folders.

FOLDER OPTIONS

The option is available to Select or Clear All folders shown in the Folder list.
You can also "Reload Folders" at any point in time. All contact folders will be re-scanned with folders being added or deleted from the list as the case may be. All folder selections made prior to the "reload" will be lost. Also, if you delete a folder in Outlook after selecting it from the folder list, the folder still remains accessible until it is also removed from the "Deleted Items" list. Completely deleting a folder after selection will cause an error to occur.
The multiple folder selection option is used universally in both ContactGenie Import and Export products. The "Reload" function is primarily intended for use in Import Products to enable adding a new target contact folder for importing purposes.
PROCESS OPTIONS

CLEAR & EXIT
Clears any selections made and returns control to the location that invoked this selection process.
VERIFY SELECTED
Will verify all selected contact folders against the primary contact folder in terms of the selected message class being available for each folder and that the number/type of user-defined fields match even if the same message class name is found. There is nothing that prevents a custom form being published under the same name to different folders with different custom fields which in effect makes these different forms.
The verification process is essentially bypassed if "Ignore Message Class" is selected for the primary contact folder since only standard fields will be available for all contact folders.
VERIFY & EXIT
Performs the Verify function described above and returns control to the location that invoked this process.
OWNERIDS
When multiple folders have been selected, it is mandatory that each selected folder be given an "OwnerID". An OwnerID can be individually assigned or one ID may be used for multiple folders. The purpose of the OwnerID is to easily allow you to identify the source/owner of an individual contact record. A primary OwnerID is optional if no additional contact folders are selected.

Owner ID's can be entered individually in the appropriate box for each contact folder or may be bulk updated to the value contained in the Primary Owner ID field.
SET ALL TO PRIMARY
This will set the OwnerID for each folder to the Primary Folder ID whether or not a value is already contained in the field.
SET EMPTY TO PRIMARY
Will set all non-assigned ID's to the Primary Folder ID.
Folders Errors
Each entry in the additional folder list has a field indicating a <Y>es or <No> in the <Errs> column:

This field is simply an indicator that one or more fields in for this contact folder were found to have MAPI errors. Mode detailed information can be found on the "Folder With Errors" help page.
MULTIPLE FOLDERS USING IPM.CONTACT MESSAGE CLASS
When selecting multiple folders which have the standard IPM.Contact form (message class) assigned, CGX treats this message class as it would any other custom form in terms of custom fields. That means that the selected folders must have the same number & types of custom fields (as shown under "User-defined fields in folder" in the contact <All Fields> display options). It doesn't matter whether or not you plan on selecting any user-defined fields for exporting.
To select all folders ignoring all user-defined fields, you must set the selected Message Class option to "Ignore Message Class" in <Select Other Message Class> on the CGX form.
