Text Files (CSV etc)

Once any <Text> file type is selected, the following text formatting options will be available:

SlctFile-TextKeyed

Option Descriptions

1.Option to add the run date to the file name created. Primarily for easy future identification and also enables using an Export Template (Advanced and Premium editions) repeatedly without over-writing the file
2.Typically the default value for this is a comma, however in some cases (primarily in international regions), the CSV separator character used can be different. If a CSV file is selected and the "list separator" character is not a comma, CGX will change the file type to that of CDH/CDN using the list separator character for the regional setting as the delimiter.
3.For Custom Delimited files, up to a 2 character delimiter can be entered
4.Any of the valid Windows settings can be selected which will automatically set new default formats for date, number and date fields. For example:

SlctLocale
