
Notes:
| 1. | See <Orphan user-defined fields> for explanation/definition of what is considered an orphan UDF |
| 2. | This function only applies to the <IPM.Contact> message class |
| 3. | The first step to getting a complete list of orphan UDFs is a complete scan of all contacts (based on any filter criteria entered). This can take some time if it involves a very large contact folder |
| 4. | Once the scan is completed, orphan UDFs can be added to the <User-defined field in folder> list or be removed from individual contacts |
| 5. | When applying changes, a complete scan is not repeated. Only those contacts with orphan UDFs will be processed |
| 6. | The addition to the user-defined field folder list or removal from contact items can be done for all orphan UDF fields found or only for those selected |
| 7. | The Orphan field list identifies the field names found, the field type and number of contacts containing data in the field. The <Preview> will also show the actual value contained in orphan UDF field. |
