There are currently 3 options available within this function:
| 1. | Create a new Distribution group from contacts within a given contact folder |
| 2. | Assign a new category to contacts who are members of a selected PDL |
| 3. | Export the Personal Distribution Group - this option is <unrestricted> and does not require the program to be registered |
In all cases, CTK only deals with the first tier PDL. Embedded DLs are not included in any function.
Notes:
New Distribution Group creation
| 1. | As the note in the above window indicates, creating a new PDL via CTK does not overcome any limitations that may exist within your current configuration especially as those may apply to PDLs created within a Microsoft Exchange environment. It is possible to create a PDL which cannot be opened within Outlook due to MS Exchange limitations. Unfortunately, it is impossible to determine what the exact limitations may be on your specific system. CTK can generally access a PDL that cannot be opened within Outlook. Assigning a new category
| 1. | Assigning a new category to members of a DL will result in the category being appended to any existing categories |
| 2. | This only applies to PDL members who are also contacts within an Outlook contact folder |
Exporting a PDL
| 1. | 3 fields will be included in a PDL export file - Name - Email Address - PDL Name |
| 2. | This is a free unrestricted option. No purchase is required. |
