Notes:
| 1. | Select one of the defined formats to be applied to the FileAs field. |
| 2. | The first 5 options are standard Outlook options, the balance are custom formats |
| 3. | Standard <FileAs> formats will automatically changed within the Outlook UI if any of the underlying elements are changed for the contact |
| 4. | <Re-update using existing value> option has been included as of version 1.5.3 to address an issue where a mobile sync would no longer function properly until the <FileAs> field was reset to it's original value. The problem surfaces after a "sync" process and is included as a convenience option for those cases (not a problem cause by CG Toolkit). The exact cause of this problem is not completely known and does not appear to be consistent. At the time of inclusion, the "sync" problem appears to be completely resolved once the <FileAs> field is reset. |
| 5. | When a FA setting is selected for a format that uses only the contact's name fields or only the companyname, then the following will occur an an attempt to avoid setting the a blank FA field: - if all name fields are blank, the FA will be populated with the <CompanyName> if one exists - if the <CompanyName> field is blank and the format selected is only the <CompanyName>, the FA will be populated the <Last, First> name fields if values are present |
